Information We Collect
Digital Receipt Wallet collects the following information to provide its services:
- Account information: Email address and display name provided during registration
- Receipt and transaction data: Expense records, store names, amounts, dates, and categories you enter
- Profile photo: If you choose to upload one
- Receipt images: Photos you take or upload for scanning
- Bank statement PDFs: Documents you upload for bulk transaction import
How We Use Your Information
- To provide expense tracking and reporting features
- To analyze receipt images and bank statement PDFs using AI for automatic data extraction
- To send budget limit notifications you have enabled
- To sync your data across sessions via Firebase
Data Storage
Your data is stored securely in Google Firebase (Firestore). Receipt images and bank statement PDFs are processed by the Google Gemini API for automated data extraction, subject to Google's Gemini API Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Data Sharing
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties, except:
- Firebase (Google): For data storage and authentication
- Google Sign-In: For account authentication, if you choose to sign in with Google
- Google Gemini API: For AI-powered receipt and bank statement analysis (image and document content only)
Your Rights
You can request account deletion at any time from within the app (Settings > Delete Account). Your account will be deactivated immediately and remain in this state for 30 days. You can reactivate your account by logging back in during this period. After 30 days, your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted.
